Timothy McOmber is a fifth-generation Montanan and a self taught painter whose work reimagines the old West through a modern lens. He earned his BFA in drawing and printmaking from Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, and his bold painting style reflects the graphic clarity and high-contrast aesthetics of screen printing.
Rooted in family tradition, Timothy was encouraged by his grandfather, a farmer and lifelong fan of Western comics and films, to explore the mythology, grit, and humor of frontier storytelling. Today, his work blends classic Americana with contemporary culture, music, and mixed media experimentation, creating a distinctly fresh and energetic vision of the American West.
