Show Statement:

The Return of Wolf Chief is a new body of work created exclusively for this exhibition. The series continues my longstanding exploration of Blackfeet identity, family lineage, and pictographic storytelling through the recurring figure of the wolf warrior. The wolf holds a personal significance through my connection to the Running Wolf family. Throughout my career, I have depicted wolf warriors and wolf headdresses, including Wolf Chief, a figure inspired by a family relative. These works honor that lineage while continuing to develop my visual language as a contemporary Blackfeet artist.
