Show Statement:

In Hall Pass, artist Steve Bormes invites viewers into a world reimagined through found objects—each piece a playful, thought-provoking assemblage that blurs the boundary between natural and manmade. With a keen eye for overlooked materials, Bormes transforms discarded remnants into vibrant sculptures that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

Presented in partnership with the Center for Large Landscape Conservation, this exhibition reflects a shared vision: a future where nature and people thrive together in connected, resilient landscapes. Through playful form and thoughtful reuse, Hall Pass becomes a passageway into deeper conversations about creativity, sustainability, and the interdependence of all life
