Show Statement:

My work explores the tension between contrasting materials, layers of texture, detail, and craftsmanship. I combine steel, exotic woods, tactile surfaces, and automotive paint to create pieces that shift in character with the influence of light and their surroundings.

From a distance, each work is commanding and deliberate. Up close, it reveals intricate details, textures, and craftsmanship that invite closer examination. The interaction of materials and light creates a dynamic experience, allowing each piece to take on different meaning and feeling depending on how it is viewed.



At the heart of my work is the balance between opposing qualities: strength and delicacy, simplicity and complexity, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is an exploration of contrast—not only in materials and form, but also in the emotions and perceptions they evoke.

I strive to create work that demands attention from afar while rewarding curiosity up close. Every surface, detail, and material is intentional, reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship and the belief that simplicity can coexist with complexity.
