Show Statement:

From the iconic National Parks in Montana and Utah, to the vast open plains of Wyoming, the Western United States boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in America. With this beauty, comes harsh weather and extreme temperature changes, often exacerbated by climate change. For those who choose to call the West their home, the dramatic landscape and close-knit communities surpass any difficulties. This exhibit presents the work of four contemporary photographers, whose work captures some of the unexpected glimmers of connection, and who highlight the picturesque hidden within the ordinary, to reveal the reality that lies between the possible and the unavoidable.
